What would be the best spliceable cord for locking on to these Line Lock Hooks that is unlikely to slip? (There is also a preference for greenish colored cord). I would like to use reflective cord, but have found none that is spliceable. Amsteel is apparently too slippery. Spectra 2.2mm that I found which is supposedly spliceable seems like it might be equally slippery and what I found was expensive. I have read that yellow Zing It 2.2mm often slips unless you tie a knot. On the other side, what are the maximum diameters of shock cord and Amsteel I could hook on to? From the size of the Beastee D rings, it seems like 1/8″ would easily fit.
